1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of IoT Workshop, a platform operated by Arytan Technologies OPC Pvt. Ltd. (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or otherwise using the platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
2. About IoT Workshop
IoT Workshop is an IoT learning and workshop platform. Through it you can:
- create Projects and configure their Fields;
- connect IoT devices such as development boards and single-board computers;
- send and read IoT data through the platform's REST API;
- store the Entries your devices send, and view them;
- configure visualization Widgets on a Project dashboard;
- import and export Project data.
It is intended particularly for students, engineers, technocrats, educators and IoT workshop participants, and is provided for educational, workshop and technology-development purposes.
3. Your Account
- You must provide accurate account information, including a valid email address, and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for keeping your password and API keys confidential.
- You are responsible for activity carried out through your account or with your Project's API keys.
- You must not attempt to access any account, Project or data that is not yours.
- Tell us promptly if you believe your account or an API key has been compromised. You can change your password and sign out other sessions yourself, from Account → Security.
4. Projects and Project Data
Two different things are governed differently, and the distinction matters:
- Your Project
- The Project is your workspace on the platform: its name, description, icon, Fields, Widgets, settings and API keys. It remains available to you in accordance with these Terms and the platform's rules.
- Your Project data
- The Entries collected inside a Project are subject to the configured workshop data-retention policy described in section 5, and may be cleared automatically.
5. Workshop Data Retention
The platform applies a workshop data-retention period to the data collected in a Project. The default period is 3 days. The period actually in force is set by the Administrator and may be changed.
The period runs from the date and time the Project was created, so each Project has its own deadline. When it expires:
- the Entries collected in that Project may be deleted automatically;
- the Project itself is not deleted;
- its configuration, Fields, Widgets and settings remain;
- its API keys remain, unless another security rule in these Terms applies.
You can see the period in force and the time remaining for each of your Projects on your Account page.
6. Clearing Project Data
Project Settings includes a Clear Project Data action. It permanently removes the Entries collected in that Project while keeping the Project and its configuration. It cannot be undone. Export anything you want to keep first.
7. Deleting a Project
Deleting a Project is not the same as clearing its data. Deleting a Project permanently removes the Project together with its associated resources — its Entries, Fields, Widgets and API keys — in accordance with the platform's deletion rules. It cannot be undone.
8. API Usage
You may use the platform's REST API to send and read your own Project data. You must:
- use each API key for its intended purpose, and keep your keys private;
- not use the API in a way that disrupts or degrades the platform for others;
- not attempt to bypass, evade or circumvent rate limits or any other platform limit.
Platform limits apply, and may include limits on the number of Projects per account, the number of Widgets per Project, the number of API calls per day and the minimum interval between calls. These limits are set by the Administrator and may change. The limits in force are reflected in the application and in its Help pages.
9. Widgets
The platform provides supported visualization Widgets for displaying your Project data. The currently supported types are the Line Chart, the Numeric Value and the LED Indicator. The set of supported Widgets may change as the platform develops.
10. Import and Export
You may export a Project's data to your own computer, and import data into a Project, in the file formats the platform supports at the time. You are responsible for ensuring that data you import is valid, and that you have the right to upload and use it.
11. Acceptable Use
You must not:
- access, or try to access, any account, Project, API key or data that is not yours;
- abuse the API, or automate requests in a way that harms the service;
- circumvent platform limits, rate limits or access controls;
- upload, transmit or store malicious code;
- attack, probe or attempt to disrupt the platform or its infrastructure;
- upload or transmit unlawful content, or data you have no right to use;
- interfere with the operation of the service or with other users' use of it.
12. Intellectual Property
The IoT Workshop platform, its software, design and associated intellectual property belong to Arytan Technologies OPC Pvt. Ltd. or its applicable licensors. These Terms do not transfer any of those rights to you.
You remain responsible for the data and content you submit to the platform, and you must hold the rights necessary to submit, upload or import it.
13. Service Availability
We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. The service may be unavailable or degraded because of maintenance, updates, technical failures, network problems or circumstances outside our control, and may be changed or discontinued in whole or in part.
14. Data Loss
Keep your own copy of anything important. Project data is subject to the configured workshop retention policy and may be cleared automatically, and data can also be lost through technical failure. The platform's export function is provided for exactly this purpose, and you are responsible for taking your own backups.
15. Suspension and Termination
We may restrict, suspend or terminate access to an account where it is reasonably necessary for the security of the platform or its users, in response to abuse, on a breach of these Terms, or to comply with a legal requirement. Where it is reasonable and lawful to do so, we will tell the account holder.
You may stop using the platform at any time, and may delete your account from the Account page.
16. Disclaimer
IoT Workshop is provided for educational, workshop and technology-development purposes, on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranty regarding the operation of your devices, the availability or reliability of your network, the accuracy or calibration of your sensors, the availability of the API, or continuous availability of the service.

17. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Arytan Technologies OPC Pvt. Ltd. shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, loss of profits, loss of business, or loss or corruption of data arising out of or in connection with your use of the platform.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.
